Oasis del trópico 2023 is inspired by the lushness of the plantain jungle, which has been present on our continent for so many centuries that we have even forgotten where it originally came from. And though it decorates every corner of our daily life, it carries an undeniable history, as it has been a constant companion to ours. Not only through its vibrant colors, which depict and embellish the landscapes of Latin America and also Asia; but also because in the delicate and extensive stretch of land that belongs to us, plantain have become a symbol of identity and belonging.
